Express and Create, Solidarity and Support" is a slogan that summarises the aims of HeadSpace, a new, non-profit, artistic magazine that accepts submissions on the theme of mental health. It is entirely run by volunteers and mostly distributed for free in psychiatric wards and other places that cater to people with mental health problems. The first issue was launched in May 2013 in Dublin.
To bring attention to the widespread apathy toward climate change, nonprofit group 350action and agency Barton F. Graf 9000 got a little personal. Tapping into the meteorological legacy of naming hurricanes after people–thereby marring the good names of unsuspecting Sandys, Irenes and Katrinas everywhere–“Climate Name Change” told the same storm story, but subbed in the name of prominent politicians who refuse to acknowledge climate change.

“Semiotics of the Kitchen” is a feminist video art that examines the symbolism of women's confinement within domestic spaces, utilizing the framework of a televised cooking show. In this piece, Rosler assumes the role of an "anti-Julia Child," wielding a series of kitchen utensils in alphabetical order, some archaic and peculiar, assigning them arbitrary names before forcefully miming their use.
Deportation Class is a satirical project by European anti-deportation activists protesting European airlines who agreed to cooperate with deportation agendas. Together, these airlines are referred to as the Deportation Alliance. The activists designed a faux luxury offering on behalf of each airline, showcasing the attractive perks of flying "deportation class."
The "I'm Not A Joke" campaign from Daniel Arzola is a series of images inscribed with compelling truths about human diversity that encourages individuals to live as their authentic selves. He wants the images to eventually appear on buses and subways, exposing audiences to the realities of queer experiences in an attempt to break down prejudice in a form of activism that he calls "Artivism."
