“How different. Exotic,” commented one women as she watched a group of almost 50 people — mostly young and black, many wearing bright fabrics with African designs — stroll through the Shopping Leblon mall.

A group of German doctors have posed naked in an attempt to draw attention to shortages of protective clothing and equipment. Calling their protest Blanke Bedenken, or Naked Qualms, members of the group said they felt at risk from coronavirus and claimed their calls for help over several months had gone unheeded.

Lynn Neuman, director of New York City–based Artichoke Dance, became preoccupied with single-use disposability after she started wondering about waste and who was responsible for it. Activists have taken a Trojan horse into the grounds of the British Museum to protest against its sponsorship deal with the oil corporation BP. An anti-Nazi organization called Exit-Deutschland targeted a right-wing Rock Festival in a city called Gera. They got in contact to the festival organizers by using a fictitious name, and they distributed 250 trojan t-shirts with a writing “Hardcore Rebels” during the festival. When the recipients of the shirts went back home and washed them.
