(Honoring our Origins, Ourselves and our Dreams) is an all-womyn and womyn-identified crew from the northeast San Fernando Valley dedicated to creating awareness through public art.

Work ideology centers around sustainable work. Through fifteen interviews, workers and prospective workers were interviewed about their experiences with work and the job search. Those interviews are analyzed and compiled on work ideology. However, work ideology goes further than showcasing the interview results, it allows for anonymous responses to be entered as well, expanding the research’s accessibility to every worker.

By Catherine Porter I spent an hour Wednesday morning talking pigs and Leo Tolstoy on a traffic island outside the Princes' Gates. Anita Krajnc and her group call this “Pig Island.” They come here most weeks to watch and photograph the pigs en route to their death at nearby Quality Meat Packers.

She seeks to utilize her feminist art to spread awareness on mental health issues. Sravy is a nomad in her own right, and throughout her experiences in Asia she has noticed that there are stimas surrounding women's autonomy and how they handle mental health struggles.

Realizing the lack of a safe community within the Northern Utah Area, Sammy, a highschooler from NUAMES in Davis County, started his project “I Matter” with a series of interviews in which he found this sentiment echoed. That’s why Sammy created “I Matter”, I Matter is an organization just for Northern Utah Teens.

I Shop Therefore I Am (1987) is the work of Barbara Kruger . It became an iconic artwork, being reproduced on items such as shopping bags and other consumer products such as t-shirts. Kruger has often derived images from the mass media and pasted the words over them, particularly in Futura Bold . She then uses advertising to design her works.

Sari Red (1988), by Pratibha Parmar, is a visual poem. Made in memory of Kalbinder Kaur Hayre, a young Indian woman killed in 1985 in a racist attack in England, Sari Red eloquently examines the effect of the ever-present threat of violence upon the lives of Asian women in both private and public spheres.

In October and November 2016, Breathing Lights illuminated the windows of hundreds of vacant buildings in Albany, Schenectady and Troy, NY. Warm light filled each window with a diffuse glow that mimicked the gentle rhythm of human breathing. Concentrated in neighborhoods with high levels of vacancy, Breathing Lights transformed abandoned structures from pockets of shadows into places of warmth.
