Spanish citizens held the first hologram protest in history in order to protest without violating the new draconian guidelines of the National Security Act, the new amendments to the Penal Code and the Anti-terror law. Thousands of people marched past a Spanish parliament building in Madrid over the weekend weekend to protest the new law that they say endangers civil liberties. Angel Azul is an environmental documentary that follows the work of eco-sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor. Jason creates artificial coral reefs from statues he's cast from live models and installed on the ocean floor in an underwater museum off the coast of Cancún. In response to white gentrifiers trying to silence go-go music on the corners of Florida Avenue and 7th Avenue, activists and D.C. residents poured into the streets by blasting go-go music and celebrating its rich history within the city.
